Our Mission

"Organized for Outreach"

We will visibly impact Bally neighborhoods by being a sign of the reign of God, proclaiming salvation through Jesus Christ. Empowering mission ministries (near and far) that yield transformed lives through Jesus Christ will be the primary organizing factor.

"Dedicated to Healing and Reconciliation"

We will be an authentic healing community. Love, mercy, reconciliation, accountability, and forgiveness will be congregational characteristics.

"Mobilized for Worship and Service"

We will disciple each other into a life of effective personal witness and ministry. Every member will see him/herself as a minister of Jesus Christ.

Our Convictions

By the grace of God we seek to live and proclaim the good news of reconciliation in Jesus Christ. As part of one body at all times and places, we hold the following to be central to our belief and practice:
  1. God is known to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the Creator who seeks to restore fallen humanity by calling a people to be faithful in fellowship, worship, service and witness.

  2. Jesus is the Son of God. Through His life and teachings, His cross and resurrection, He showed us how to be faithful disciples, redeemed the world, and offers eternal life.

  3. As a church, we are a community of those whom God´s Spirit calls to turn from sin, acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord, receive baptism upon confession of faith, and follow Christ in life.

  4. As a faith community, we accept the Bible as our authority for faith and life, interpreting it together under Holy Spirit guidance, in the light of Jesus Christ to discern God´s will for our obedience.

  5. The Spirit of Jesus empowers us to trust God in all areas of life so we become peacemakers who renounce violence, love our enemies, seek justice, and share our possessions with those in need.

  6. We gather regularly to worship, to celebrate the Lord´s Supper, and to hear the Word of God in a spirit of mutual accountability.

  7. As a world-wide community of faith and life we transcend boundaries of nationality, race, class, gender and language. We seek to live in the world without conforming to the powers of evil, witnessing to God´s grace by serving others, caring for creation, and inviting all people to know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
In these convictions we draw inspiration from Anabaptist forebearers of the 16th century, who modeled radical discipleship to Jesus Christ. We seek to walk in His name by the power of the Holy Spirit, as we confidently await Christ´s return and the final fulfillment of God´s kingdom.

Our Values

  1. God-centered worship.

While all five core values could rightly be defined as “facets of worship,” here we are describing those activities we offer to God that celebrate His greatness as Lord of our lives. It is not defined by any particular style or time-bound preference. It is any sacrifice we freely give to God that has no other purpose than to bring Him glory.

  2. Transforming community.

We believe that God uses our relationships to help shape us into the likeness of Christ. We worship, learn, work and pray together. We give and receive counsel, make commitments and hold each other accountable by speaking the truth in love. We make mistakes and forgive each other. We celebrate God’s victories in and through one another. We strive to live out faith, hope and love in practical ways. We share experiences of God’s mighty acts in our midst. And day by day we are changed.

  3. Faithful discipleship.

Following Jesus is more than following rules and doing good works. It is learning to hear and obey the voice of God. By His Holy Spirit we can recognize His specific Will for us through His Word, through prayer, through other believers and through the circumstances of life. Our training involves—among other things—dying to self, spiritual disciplines, identifying and exercising spiritual gifts, training in righteousness, and discovering a life mission.

  4. Sacrificial service.

From the Senior Pastor to the newest believer, everyone is called and gifted to serve. We desire to share all the good things God has given us through sacrificial giving of time , spiritual gifts and abilities, and financial resources. We celebrate and embrace others as God’s gift to us. Together, we can experience service as a delivery system for God’s grace.

  5. Passionate evangelism.

As long as there are persons who do not know the love and forgiveness Jesus offers us, there is work to be done. We are committed to fan into flame a passion for the lost, to empower ministries that effectively communicate the gospel, and to promote zeal for Jesus’ Great Commandment and Great Commission.
We believe that these values most clearly reflect the life of the Kingdom taught by Jesus, described in the Book of Acts and the Epistles, and lived out by faithful believers through the ages.
